I love your blog! You mention that you use to do freelance graphic design, I'm majoring in that with a minor in journalism. Do you find that its important to get an internship? Thanks!

Aww thanks! I freelanced more in the past, but now that I have a standard 9-5 I do it a lot less (esp. since it’s less fun when I’m forced to be creative for profit).
Majors/minors/school is important but internships are DEFINITELY important. I’d also say don’t shy away from doing a few projects for $Free.99 if they can boost your portfolio’s content & quality.
